Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Support finance transformation projects across the Group, helping to keep programmes on track and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Maintain programme plans and coordinate timelines, dependencies, and progress across multiple projects.
- Track and report on project performance, including gap-closing initiatives, KPIs, budgets, and variances.
- Support programme governance, including maintaining RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, and other core PMO documentation.
- Prepare materials for steering meetings, such as agendas, papers, updates, and decision logs.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Group Finance, country management, and functions such as IT, HR, and operations to gather updates and resolve issues.
- Build and review business cases for transformation projects and Group investment decisions, including financial analysis, sensitivities, and risks.
- Track benefits and return on investment, including supporting post-implementation reviews and keeping benefits trackers up to date.
- Lead ad hoc finance and strategic projects from initial scoping through to recommendation for senior stakeholders.
- Support the rollout of AI and automation initiatives across Group and country finance teams.
- Produce regular management reporting and presentations, providing clear financial and project insights for senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
