Help make the world more hospitable

The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster, and create better guest experiences.

You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building.

If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity, and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here.

About the role

Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Mews' largest global franchise brands, run hundreds of millions of dollars a year through their payments stack, and right now no single person owns that relationship end to end. This role changes that. You'll be the dedicated Fintech partner for around 30 of Mews' highest-value accounts, working pre-signature to win their business and post-signature to grow it, at a moment when this function is scaling fast and this seat is being built from the ground up.

What you would do

  • Own the full Fintech commercial relationship for strategic global brands, from RFP proposals and executive pitches pre-signature to expansion and onsite relationship management post-signature
  • Build tailored commercial proposals, business cases, and executive presentations for RFPs, quarterly business reviews, and annual account reviews
  • Track and present payment KPIs (volume, fee composition, chargeback rates, multi-currency revenue, revenue share) with data-driven recommendations for each account
  • Drive adoption of new and existing Fintech products, including multi-currency and accounts receivable, to grow share of wallet even in accounts that already process 100% of their payments through Mews
  • Partner cross-functionally with Strategic Accounts, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product to resolve complex Fintech issues and support account growth
  • AI Fluency Level 4: in this role, that means going beyond using AI tools yourself. You'll build and shape the AI-powered systems that turn raw account data (payment volumes, fee breakdowns, chargeback trends) into the executive-ready KPI narratives and commercial recommendations you present to brands like Hilton and Radisson, understanding the underlying tooling well enough to configure and improve it, not just consume its output.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you would bring

  • 6-8+ years selling or supporting payments and Fintech commercially, with genuine ownership of enterprise-level deals, not solely a technical or consulting role
  • Direct experience with globally recognized brands, or customers processing $100M+ annually in payments volume, including comfort negotiating commercial terms and pricing directly
  • Breadth across Fintech products beyond payment processing (lending, bank accounts, card issuing), not payments-only experience
  • Confidence presenting payment KPIs (volume, fees, chargebacks, multi-currency revenue) to C-suite and board-level audiences
  • AI Fluency Level 4 or the equivalent hands-on experience building and shaping AI-powered analysis and reporting tools

Nice to have

  • Experience selling payments to software platforms (ISV/SaaS) rather than only to end businesses
  • Background at a large, recognized payments or Fintech company
  • Hospitality industry experience

Life at Mews

We’re an equal opportunities employer. We value teams that reflect the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. Different perspectives make better ideas, stronger products, and a more welcoming company.

We also believe transparency is important when deciding if you're the right fit. Mews is an ambitious, high-pressure environment of continuous learning and high standards. Success here requires resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to solve difficult problems.

A few things that define how we work:

  • High autonomy means high responsibility. People are expected to take ownership and drive outcomes. There isn’t a detailed playbook for everything, and that’s part of what makes the work challenging – and rewarding.
  • Change is constant. We’re growing quickly and adapting as we scale. Teams, processes, and priorities continue to evolve, and only people who stay curious and agile will thrive.
  • We’re remote-first, not relationship-free. Flexibility is core to how we work, but strong relationships still matter. Our teams are global, so we need expert collaborators and communicators to help us move forward together.
  • AI is an integral part of our processes. It’s not here to steal people’s jobs, but to amplify efficiency and productivity. We’re motivated to proactively use the technology to seek out better ways of working and share our findings with the rest of the company.

If there's anything we can do to support you during the application process, let us know.

We don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

One final thing: don't hold back. If you don't meet 100% of the criteria in this job description but you're certain you could make a big impact, apply. Everyone should have equal access to opportunities, and we're committed to providing an inclusive experience.

If Mews sounds like the kind of environment where you'd thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
