Opportunity
Map Room is seeking to engage with Business Development and Customer Relationship Professionals for a senior customer-facing position, reporting to the Managing Director of Map Room. The primary focus of this role is to build new and develop existing relationships to scale our consulting and resourcing business, delivering outstanding outcomes for our customers. You will take our business to market; identifying and qualifying new opportunities, in line with our business plan and contributing to Map Room's growth ambitions.
Reward
We are different, and our reward reflects this. A flexible base salary to reflect your experience, with a target range of £50,000 - £80,000, plus the ability to earn uncapped commission on the business you bring in, PLUS the opportunity to become an owner of the business.

Responsibilities
As Strategic Growth & Business Development Lead for Map Room, you will be Responsible for:
- Developing a strong personal understanding of who we serve, how we help them, and the outcomes we deliver.
- Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Identifying, qualifying, shaping, and closing new customer opportunities, personally contributing to Map Room's revenue growth and profitability.
- Expanding Map Room’s services within existing customers, identifying and closing relevant opportunities to deliver more customer value.
- Partnering with Map Room's practitioners to match the right propositions to each customer's needs.
- Partnering with our Brand & Creative team to land the right messages with prospects and customers at the right time.
- Working closely with the MD of Map Room and senior leadership to shape the GTM approach.
- Building and maintaining a high quality customer and prospect database (leveraging Map Room's CRM).

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Relevant GTM qualification (such as Account Based Marketing)
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
- Proven business development experience within professional or consulting services.
- Strong commercial and strategic capability.
- Ability to deliver and maintain high performance, in self and others.
- Strong resilience and determination.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of highly regulated and complex organisations.
- Experience operating at director / executive level.
- Multi-sector business development experience.
- Experience of taking service-led, outcome-based, consulting and resourcing propositions to market.
