We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Strategic Growth Director to join our senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing the company's commercial strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, and strengthening our position as a leading provider of security and aviation service solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven commercial leader to make a significant impact on the future direction of a growing business. You will lead our Sales and Bid functions, identify new opportunities for growth, and build lasting relationships with clients and industry partners while delivering ambitious revenue and profitability targets.

About The Role

  • Develop and implement the company's commercial growth strategy.
  • Deliver annual revenue, profitability, and pipeline targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as Executive Sponsor for strategic accounts, ensuring retention and account growth.
  • Lead the Sales and Bid Management teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee major tenders, framework submissions, and commercial proposals.
  • Provide commercial forecasting, reporting, and strategic insights to the Board and Executive Team.
  • Promote the company through networking, industry events, and relationship-building activities.
  • Support marketing initiatives, brand development, and market research activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Finance, and Compliance to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a senior Commercial, Sales, or Business Development leadership role.
  • A proven track record of delivering revenue growth and securing major contracts.
  • Previous experience within the security sector.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering, procurement, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience managing high-value client relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of B2B sales, account management, and strategic business development.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into measurable results.
  • Excellent forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable employment history.
  • Strategic, commercially astute, and results-driven.
  • A credible and influential communicator.
  • An inspirational leader who develops high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives, board members, and customers.
  • Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.

  • Aviation security experience would be advantageous.
