Strategic Growth Partner
London, with some travel | £38,000 - £45,000 + commission
Winning agency business takes more than a good pitch. It takes the right relationships, a clear understanding of the client’s challenges and the ability to turn a first project into a lasting partnership.
We’re recruiting a Strategic Growth Partner for an established marketing, digital and creative agency. You’ll build its presence in London, open doors with larger organisations and take opportunities from first conversation through to signed, profitable work.
Around 70% of your time will focus on winning new clients. The remaining 30% will involve growing an agreed portfolio of existing accounts through strategic reviews and identifying where the agency can add further value.
What you’ll be doing
- Building relationships with senior marketing and business leaders, particularly within larger organisations.
- Owning the new business pipeline, leading discovery conversations, pitches, proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Working with an outbound lead generation partner to shape targeting and convert booked meetings into qualified opportunities.
- Selling across brand, creative, marketing strategy, digital and AI, shaping proposals around the outcomes clients need.
- Winning focused entry projects and developing them into longer-term retained relationships.
- Building introductions through networking, events, partnerships and referrals, including planning and hosting the agency’s own events.
- Leading strategic growth reviews with existing clients to develop opportunities for further work.
- Working closely with strategy and delivery teams to agree achievable scopes, pricing and expectations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
