Mission
We're on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We've already protected over 3 million people through life's big transactions.
Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me - from fraud and money laundering.
Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn't exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.
Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti-fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app-based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.
Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.
The Mission of the Role
Thirdfort is scaling, and we’re looking for someone to help solve new challenges, build new capabilities, and drive execution wherever it matters most. You'll take on the highest-priority cross-functional projects - improving how we operate, unlocking efficiency, and delivering the initiatives that move the business forward. You will work closely with core teams on the highest impact initiatives across engineering, product, hiring, customer experience, and commercial.
We're looking for people who learn quickly, think deeply, and enjoy solving difficult problems. The right person is analytical and hands-on with data, thrives on variety, and loves owning a problem all the way to a result. This role requires hands-on delivery and execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
For this role, we'd love this person to be able to join us in our office three times a week - being together as a team is valuable for us.
What You’ll Do
- Owning complex, cross-functional programmes end to end - integrations, transformations and special projects - scoping them, driving them, and closing them to a measurable outcome.
- Taking end-to-end project ownership. You’ll take charge of projects from inception to execution, including strategic planning, implementation, and thorough performance reporting.
- Digging into operational data to diagnose what's really going on, and turning that analysis into decisions and fixes - building the analysis yourself, not commissioning it.
- Solving problems. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams to identify and address challenges, with a focus on building, launching, and scaling efficient processes that drive growth.
- Driving operational excellence. You’ll lead efforts to instill operational best practices across teams, driving efficiencies and elevating delivery standards.
- Stepping into gaps when the business needs a capable operator - covering a squad, running a workstream, or holding a function together through a transition.
- Turning recurring problems into documented, reusable playbooks and automation so they stay solved - including embedding AI into how we work.
What You May Bring
Hard Requirements
- Have ~3-5 years in top-tier consulting (strategy) and/or a high-growth scaleup, with real delivery and operating experience - not advisory only.
- You excel as a generalist who can build the overarching strategy and go deep into specific issues and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- You have bias for action and a track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a cross-functional team environment.
- You love to leverage AI where it can make meaningful impact and improvements.
- Have owned complex, cross-functional projects end to end and can evidence the outcomes you delivered.
- Are strongly analytical and genuinely hands-on with data - comfortable structuring a messy problem and working in the numbers.
- Communicate crisply and clearly, in writing and in person.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and have a strong bias for action.
