Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We’re supporting a growing global digital health and technology business that works with healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical organisations to build AI and data-driven products.
The business is well established internationally and has recently opened a Bristol office as part of its next stage of growth. They are now looking for a Strategy & Operations Lead to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to bring more structure, pace and accountability across the business.
This is not an EA, office management or admin-focused role. It is a hands-on strategic operations role for someone who can drive cross-functional initiatives, challenge leaders on commitments and deadlines, resolve operational dependencies and help turn business priorities into clear plans, owners and outcomes.
The right person will be comfortable stepping into ambiguity, creating order and helping a growing business operate more effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Drive cross-functional initiatives across the business, ensuring priorities move forward and do not stall between teams
- Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate strategic goals into clear plans, owners, milestones and actions
- Challenge functional leaders on commitments, progress and deadlines in a constructive and commercially aware way
- Run leadership reviews, operating meetings and follow-up actions to ensure visibility and accountability
- Identify and resolve routine operational dependencies between teams
- Take ownership of special projects that sit across departments or do not naturally belong to one function
- Improve the business operating rhythm across planning, reporting, communication and delivery
- Create structure around priorities, projects and decision-making
- Support growth across areas such as delivery, operations, recruitment, client work, product and internal processes
- Bring clarity to messy or undefined areas of the business and turn them into something workable

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
