About the Role
As a Strategic Partner Solutions Architect, you will work closely with strategic partners, guiding them beyond product discussions toward integrated infrastructure, software, and services solutions. You will play a key role in helping partners develop new capabilities, accelerate complex opportunities, and position cutting-edge technologies across Lenovo's Pocket-to-Edge-to-Cloud portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic partners, building strong relationships with architects, technical leaders, practice leads, and senior stakeholders.
- Design and shape end-to-end infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, hybrid cloud, software-defined infrastructure, and services.
- Identify, develop, and accelerate complex opportunities by connecting technical solutions to customer business outcomes.
- Enable partners to transition from product-focused selling to solution-led conversations that drive greater value for customers.
- Deliver technical workshops, architecture sessions, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen partner capabilities.
- Bring an innovative "art of the possible" mindset by connecting technologies such as AI, automation, and hybrid cloud to new business opportunities.
- Support solution discovery, architecture design, sizing, validation, and technical positioning throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with sales, services, specialists, product management, and engineering teams to create integrated, outcome-driven solutions.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Presales Architect, or in a similar senior technical role.
- Strong expertise in designing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions across multiple technology domains.
- Deep knowledge of at least one infrastructure discipline and broad architectural understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with HCI, software-defined infrastructure, 2-tier and 3-tier architectures, and modern data center environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, OpenShift, Azure Local, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code technologies, including tools such as Ansible, Terraform, scripting, or equivalent frameworks.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business value, customer outcomes, and services opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and business stakeholders and enabling partner teams.
