The Strategic Partnership Manager
The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for owning and growing Pavion’s most important manufacturer and technology partnerships, using them to strengthen our market position and generate qualified opportunities and revenue. While the vendor and alliance function manages day-to-day relationships, this role sets the partnership strategy, agrees joint growth plans with priority partners, and works with Sales and delivery teams to turn those plans into won and successfully delivered projects. The role is accountable for the strategic direction and commercial performance of the partnership portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Positioning
- Define and regularly review the partnership strategy, including which manufacturer and technology partners (e.g. Gallagher, Genetec, Bosch, Axis, Milestone, Lenel) develop or rationalise, based on market opportunity, customer demand, and commercial value.
- Lead the negotiation of strategic partner agreements and joint business plans, working with the appropriate commercial and legal stakeholders on final approval.
- Position Pavion as a partner of choice within each vendor's ecosystem, influencing where and how they route opportunity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
