Strategic Partnerships Development Manager - Gaming

Location: Brock Street, London (3 days onsite)
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £40 an hour equivalent to £320 P/D (PAYE)

I'm currently partnering with a Big Tech Company to recruit an experienced Strategic Partnerships Development Manager to join the Gaming Partnerships team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of one of the world's largest gaming ecosystems, you'll play a key role in building strategic partnerships with some of the world's leading game developers and publishers across the EMEA region, while also supporting global gaming partners.

This position is ideal for someone who combines exceptional relationship management with commercial thinking, technical understanding and a genuine passion for the gaming industry.

The Opportunity

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you'll become a trusted advisor to key gaming partners, helping them maximise the value of Meta's gaming platforms while influencing product adoption and long-term business growth.

You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure partners are successful, whilst feeding valuable market insights back into Meta's product strategy.

This is a highly visible role where you'll engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, balancing strategic planning with day-to-day partner management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with leading mobile game developers, publishers and gaming partners.
  • Understand partner objectives and identify opportunities to drive long-term growth across Meta's gaming platforms.
  • Promote and increase adoption of new Facebook Gaming products, tools and platform features.
  • Represent Meta and Facebook Gaming in meetings with senior partner stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design and Finance teams to advocate for partner needs.
  • Analyse business performance, partner metrics and industry trends to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Source and develop new partnership opportunities within the gaming ecosystem.
  • Support partners with both strategic initiatives and operational activities to ensure continued success.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years' experience in Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Partner Management or Account Management.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise or strategic client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage executive stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand platform functionality, APIs, product features and technical solutions.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working within fast-paced technology, digital platform or gaming environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 🎮 Gaming Industry Knowledge – You must have a solid understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including developers, publishers and current industry trends.
  • 🤝 Excellent Communication Skills – You'll be working with senior stakeholders across teams and external gaming partners, so exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills are essential.
  • 💻 Technical Understanding – You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable discussing technical products, platform capabilities and new feature adoption with partners.
