About Goalhanger

Goalhanger is one of the UK’s most exciting independent media companies, the team behind some of the world’s most successful shows, including The Rest Is Politics, The Rest Is History, The Rest Is Football, The Rest Is Entertainment, and a fast-growing slate. We’re a creative, fast-moving organisation with big ambitions and a brilliant team that makes them happen.

This role is based full time (5 days a week) in our office in Oval.

£55,000 - £75,000 OTE

The Role

We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to help identify, develop and deliver partnerships that create value for Goalhanger, our audiences, and our members. This is a broad role focused on finding opportunities where partnerships can help us grow awareness, reach new audiences, strengthen our relationship with audiences and members, and support new areas of growth for the business. Sitting within the Partnerships team in Goalhanger Commercial, the role will work closely with teams across the wider business - including podcast verticals, Memberships, Operations, Commercial, and Sales - to understand priorities, identify opportunities, and develop partnerships that support Goalhanger’s growth. You will manage opportunities from initial idea through to execution, building relationships with partners, shaping propositions, and ensuring partnerships deliver meaningful value.

What you’ll do:

Project management

  • Manage partnership opportunities from initial idea through to delivery, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
  • Build and maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities, ensuring priorities, next steps, and ownership are clear.
  • Shape partnership ideas into clear propositions, working with teams across Goalhanger to assess value, feasibility, and fit.
  • Take ownership of the partnership process through to contract, onboarding, and launch, ensuring clear deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities are agreed.
  • Manage long-term partner relationships, ensuring partnerships are well maintained, delivering against agreed objectives, and creating opportunities to grow over time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
