About the Role
Stuart Energy is continuing to grow, and we are looking for ambitious, commercially driven, and relationship-focused Strategic Partnerships Managers to join our expanding team.
We currently have opportunities across three areas of the business:
- Strategic Partnerships Manager - Infrastructure: UK-wide, focused on major infrastructure projects and rental opportunities.
- Strategic Partnerships Manager - Construction: North West, focused on developing customer relationships and rental opportunities within the construction sector.
- Strategic Partnerships Manager - Special Projects: UK-wide, focused on specialist, bespoke, and technically challenging power projects.
These are exciting opportunities for individuals who enjoy building long-term relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and developing practical solutions for customers.
You will play an important role in identifying upcoming projects, developing new and existing customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of Stuart Energy.
Working closely with contractors, construction companies, infrastructure organizations, end users, and key industry stakeholders, you will understand project requirements and work alongside our sales, hire, engineering, and operational teams to develop the right power solution.
Our solutions range from traditional generator hire and temporary power through to distribution, battery storage, hybrid technologies, and energy management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the area of the business you join, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities, upcoming projects, and potential strategic partnerships.
- Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful project delivery.
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, construction companies, infrastructure organizations, end users, and key industry stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
- Identify opportunities across major construction, infrastructure, and specialist projects.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support profitable business growth.
- Work closely with sales, hire, engineering, and operational teams to develop suitable project solutions.
- Promote Stuart Energy's full range of power solutions, including generators, distribution, battery, and hybrid technologies.
- Attend customer meetings, site visits, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Keep up to date with upcoming projects, market trends, and industry developments.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within the CRM.
- Manage multiple opportunities, projects, and priorities effectively.
- Represent Stuart Energy professionally at all times.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the relevant division.

What we are looking for
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, proactive, and confident in developing long-term customer relationships.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, project sales, or strategic partnerships.
- A proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness and a results-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to understand customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
- Confidence working independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Good IT skills and experience using sales CRM systems.
- Experience using BigChange would be desirable.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, plant and equipment hire, energy, engineering, temporary power, or a related commercial/technical environment would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability and willingness to travel as required for the role.
