Meta Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Leader

Meta is seeking a Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Leader to drive analytical strategy and coordinate global go-to-market insights and actions for the Small and Medium Business Group (SMBG) globally. In this role, you will serve as a senior analytical thought leader, translating complex business performance data from Meta's advertising and enterprise platforms into actionable strategies that shape how SMBG sales teams operate and grow globally. You will partner with regional leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define priorities, resolve ambiguous business challenges, and build the analytical frameworks that underpin long-term revenue and advertiser growth decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the analytical strategy and operational roadmap for SMBG globally, translating advertiser performance signals and market trends into prioritized business recommendations for regional leadership
  • Coordinate with global regional leads to ensure insights are holistic and approach is consistent
  • Lead the design and delivery of large-scale planning processes including annual business planning and quarterly business reviews for the SMBG organization
  • Identify and diagnose complex, cross-regional business challenges within Meta's SMBG advertising ecosystem and develop novel analytical approaches to resolve them
  • Build and maintain scalable reporting infrastructure and decision-support tools that enable SMBG sales and operations teams to act on performance data with speed and clarity
  • Influence functional strategy by synthesizing insights across advertiser segments, verticals, and regions to surface opportunities and risks for senior leaders
  • Establish and coach cross-functional partners on analytical methodologies, planning processes, and frameworks for rapid prioritization when business conditions shift
  • Develop contingency plans and resilience strategies for the SMBG business in response to macroeconomic, regulatory, or competitive disruptions across the regions
  • Create and deliver executive-level communications, including weekly business reviews, briefings, and strategic narratives, that engage and align senior stakeholders across sales, product, data science, and operations
  • Build and sustain influential relationships with key internal stakeholders across Sales Strategic Planning & Ops, global SMBG leadership, and cross-functional partners to generate alignment and drive shared outcomes
  • Define and track key performance indicators for SMBG business health, proactively identifying leading indicators of risk or opportunity and recommending corrective actions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
