Strategic Procurement Manager – Technology & Indirects | Newly Created Role | Transformation
London | £65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid Working
We’re supporting a leading international organisation & highly repeatable brand with the appointment of a newly created Strategic Procurement Manager – Indirects & Technology.
This is an opportunity to join a developing procurement function with significant scope to influence how procurement supports the wider business.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of strategically important indirect spend, with a particular focus on Technology and Indirect Services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to embed newly developed procurement strategies across an array of indirect spend areas.
- Becoming an ambassador for procurement, promoting procurement best practice across the organisation.
- Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and tendering activity. Negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Managing strategically important supplier relationships, developing highly effective long term relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and value creation to improve procurement processes and ways of working.
- Building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders.

Required Experience:

- Procurement professional with a strong background across Technology and/or Indirect Procurement.
- 3-6+ years' procurement strategic sourcing and category management experience.
- Exposure to Technology and broader Indirect categories.
- Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The confidence to challenge established ways of working.
- Experience within a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation.
