Strategic Relationship Manager

Salary: £58,209 - £66,877, plus a location allowance of £1,750 and excellent benefits

Location: Based in Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes with the flexibility of hybrid working depending on business need

Free shuttle bus is available between central Milton Keynes and Hanslope Park

Develop and deliver new business for our global organisation

You’ll be a key member of the team that drives our new business and customer engagement, to maintain and expand our successful work with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and other UK government and international partners.

  • You’ll generate revenue, manage strategic relationships, develop new business and engagement plans, and deliver a superb service to all our customers.
  • We’ll also expect you to liaise with and influence a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, establish appropriate agreements, and report on a broad range of strategic customer-related matters.

This is a role where you’ll own the relationship and pipeline from opportunity to delivery, you’ll help us continuously improve our approach to securing new business, work to understand decision makers, and communicate the value we deliver to our customers. Passionate about transparency, service and responsiveness, your work will help us build a strong dynamic within Customer Relations and play an essential part in driving our organisation forward.

Use all your customer relationship skills as you help defend the UK’s interests

  • You will bring well developed experience of account management, including new business pitching, complex negotiations, forecasting, reporting, pricing, business planning and relationship management.
  • With a proven track record of delivering high quality, efficient and effective sales in challenging or regulated sectors, and be capable of resolving problems with customers, and be skilled at developing and translating sector strategies into deliverable sales pipelines.

Your excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to present and influence a diverse range of audiences, you’ll have the confidence to work to tight timeframes in a fast-moving, customer-facing environment. Highly organised, detail oriented, deadline and results driven, and with excellent commercial acumen and knowledge of financial management reporting, you’ll be adaptable and flexible, and capable of responding quickly to changing priorities.
