Contract: Permanent, full-time Location: London (hybrid-working) Closing Date: 12 October 2026
About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Strategic Education Sales Manager to identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the UK and Ireland. This role combines strategic partnership development with proactive sales activity, creating growth through both individual schools and larger education organisations, including Multi-Academy Trusts, independent school groups, Music Hubs and other education providers.
You will be responsible for generating and converting new business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers at all levels, and developing a strong pipeline of prospects across a range of customer types. Some opportunities will involve working directly with individual schools, while others will require engaging with senior leaders across larger organisations to shape longer-term partnerships and scalable solutions.
Taking a consultative and insight-led approach, you will invest time in understanding customers' priorities, challenges and ambitions, then work with them to identify how Trinity College London's Music, Performing Arts and, where appropriate, English Language offer can support their goals. You will be comfortable balancing shorter-term sales opportunities with more complex, strategic sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and longer decision-making processes.
Success in this role will come from your ability to proactively identify opportunities, build relationships, convert new business and create sustainable growth. You'll be expected to develop a healthy pipeline across both individual education providers and larger strategic accounts, delivering measurable growth in revenue and candidate numbers while positioning Trinity as a trusted education partner. You will also build on initial school wins and pilots, working with colleagues to expand successful relationships across more schools, learner groups and subject areas.
About you
You are a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities, building relationships and securing new business. Whether engaging directly with an individual school or leading discussions with senior stakeholders across a large education organisation, you can quickly build credibility, understand customer needs and articulate the value of tailored solutions.
You have a proven track record of proactively generating leads, developing opportunities and closing new business. You are equally comfortable managing shorter sales cycles with individual schools and navigating more complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, formal procurement processes and longer-term organisational change initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
