About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a growing B2B SaaS business looking for an experienced Strategic SDR to generate opportunities across upper mid-market and enterprise accounts.
We're specifically looking for someone who has built their sales career within strong B2B SaaS environments and can bring experience from ambitious, high-growth or well-regarded technology companies.
This is a strategic outbound role rather than a purely high-volume SDR position. You'll research target accounts in depth, map complex buying groups and build thoughtful, personalised outreach that gets the attention of senior decision-makers.
You'll work closely with Account Executives to develop accounts, qualify opportunities and create meaningful enterprise pipeline. You'll have the freedom to think commercially about how you approach prospects rather than simply working through a list and booking meetings.
This could be a strong next move for an SDR or BDR who has developed a solid foundation across several years of B2B SaaS sales and now wants greater exposure to strategic and enterprise selling.
What you'll be doing
- Own outbound prospecting across upper mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Research target organisations and identify high-value opportunities
- Map complex accounts, buying groups, decision-makers and influencers
- Develop personalised account-based prospecting strategies
- Generate opportunities through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and creative outbound
- Engage senior and C-level stakeholders
- Run discovery and qualification conversations
- Understand prospects' commercial challenges, priorities and buying triggers
- Work closely with Account Executives to develop strategic accounts
- Help shape opportunities rather than simply handing over booked meetings
- Build multi-threaded relationships across target organisations
- Partner with Marketing and Partnerships on campaigns, events and account-based activity
- Build, test and optimise outbound sequences
- Use data to improve targeting, messaging and conversion
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity information within HubSpot
- Use Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales technology effectively
- Work towards clear pipeline, opportunity and revenue-generation targets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with HubSpot, Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be particularly useful. Familiarity with MEDDPICC/MEDPIC or another structured enterprise sales methodology would also be valuable. We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked within interesting B2B SaaS businesses – for example, high-growth start-ups and scale-ups, innovative software companies or established technology brands – and can demonstrate what they've learned from those environments. A degree isn't essential. Your B2B SaaS experience, sales performance and the quality of the environments you've developed in are much more important.
Why apply?
- £40,000–£50,000 base salary
- £60,000–£70,000 OTE
- Strategic enterprise prospecting rather than purely high-volume outreach
- Work with upper mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Direct exposure to senior and C-level decision-makers
- Close partnership with experienced Account Executives
- Develop sophisticated account-based and enterprise sales skills
- Modern sales technology and GTM support
- Clear progression opportunities
- Ambitious, high-performance B2B SaaS environment
- Hybrid working – just 2 days per week in the Central London office
If you've built a strong foundation in B2B SaaS sales and want to join an ambitious technology business where you can develop into a more strategic enterprise seller, we'd like to hear from you.
