Dunnhumby Overview

dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, partnering with the world’s most ambitious retailers and brands to put the customer at the heart of every decision. We combine deep insight, advanced technology, and close collaboration to help our clients grow, innovate, and deliver measurable value for their customers.

dunnhumby employs nearly 2,500 experts in offices throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas working for transformative, iconic brands such as Tesco, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, and Metro.

Dunnhumby Network Alliance

dna (dunnhumby Network Alliance) is an open, collaborative Retail and Commerce Media service designed to unify a fragmented market and unlock growth for brands, agencies, and retailers. Operating as a neutral layer across multiple retail partners, DNA brings together audiences, inventory, and intelligence enabling a single, simplified point of entry to cross-retailer media at scale. Built in partnership with Kevel and powered by dunnhumby’s data and expertise, DNA connects brand and performance across the full customer journey, delivering more transparent, consistent, and effective outcomes in an increasingly complex media landscape.

The Role

Own the architecture that makes dna work in the real world, across dunnhumby, Kevel, retailers, and publishers. This is enterprise architecture and customer-facing solutioning in a single seat: set the patterns, then prove them on live opportunities and partner integrations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own dna's target-state architecture across platform, data, integration, and security, and the guardrails that keep it coherent as partners are added.
  • Turn business, product, and partner requirements into end-to-end solution designs covering integration patterns, data flows, deployment models, and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead the technical side of retailer and publisher onboarding, from discovery through to a working integration, so each new partner lands faster than the last.
  • Define reusable platform patterns that reduce bespoke, client-specific builds and improve scalability, consistency, and cost-to-serve.
  • Act as the senior technical voice in partner and client conversations, including with Kevel, shaping credible options and explaining the trade-offs behind them.
  • Feed delivery reality back into product and engineering, spotting where recurring needs should be productised, standardised, or simplified.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
