Position Summary

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support the development and execution of Rolls-Royce's long-term strategy for critical minerals, rare earth elements and metal revert programmes. The role is responsible for providing market intelligence, economic analysis, financial modelling and strategic insights that enable procurement and supply chain decisions in an increasingly complex and geopolitically sensitive raw materials landscape.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying supply risks and opportunities, evaluating investment and sourcing strategies, monitoring global market developments, and supporting initiatives that enhance security of supply, sustainability and competitiveness.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor and analyse global critical mineral and rare earth markets, including supply-demand dynamics, geopolitical developments, regulatory changes and emerging industry trends.
  • Develop market outlooks and forecasting models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Produce regular executive-level reports and presentations highlighting key market developments and risks.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate sourcing strategies, supplier opportunities, recycling initiatives and investment cases.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess market volatility and business exposure.
  • Support the development of closed-loop supply chain models and sustainability initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
