About the role:
As Strategic Sourcing Manager you'll play a pivotal role in optimising procurement processes and supply chain strategies across our global organisation. Based in Fareham with a need for travel, this position is essential for driving cost efficiencies and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier relationships and contribute to the overall success of our purchasing and procurement initiatives.

As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you’ll:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimise procurement processes.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and savings achieved to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in a mid-senior role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
