Strategic Technology Partnerships Manager | B2B SaaS / MarTech

Manchester | Hybrid - 2 days per week

We’re exclusively partnering with an established B2B SaaS business to appoint a Strategic Technology Partnerships Manager to build a completely new strategic growth function. This is not a traditional channel sales or partner account management role.

Strategic technology partnerships have been identified as a key priority for the business, with the ambition to develop partnerships that create genuine customer value, strengthen the product proposition and ultimately generate new revenue.

Reporting directly to the CXO and working closely with executive leadership, Product and Engineering, you’ll have the opportunity to build the technology partnerships strategy from the ground up.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of identifying, developing and commercialising strategic technology partnerships across the wider SaaS and MarTech ecosystem.

Your remit will include:

  • Mapping the technology and MarTech landscape
  • Identifying complementary technologies and strategic partners
  • Opening and developing new partner relationships
  • Identifying where integrations can create genuine customer and commercial value
  • Building business cases for potential partnerships
  • Developing commercial partnership models
  • Negotiating commercial structures and agreements
  • Creating joint propositions and go-to-market strategies
  • Working with Product and Engineering to scope integrations
  • Turning existing technical integrations into deeper commercial relationships
  • Building a structured partner programme and roadmap
  • Creating new pipeline and revenue opportunities through partnerships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Potential ecosystems include MarTech, AdTech, CRM, marketing attribution, marketing automation, Voice AI, Creative AI and customer journey technology.

This is a commercially driven role. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you will need enough technical understanding and curiosity to credibly explore how different technologies, products and data sets can work together.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within strategic partnerships, technology partnerships, product partnerships or alliances
  • B2B SaaS or technology experience
  • Ideally experience within MarTech or a closely related ecosystem
  • Evidence of building genuine technology or product partnerships
  • Experience taking partnerships from initial idea through to commercial agreement, integration and GTM
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders within partner organisations
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Understanding of how technical integrations can create commercial and customer value
  • Evidence of partnerships contributing to revenue, pipeline or product expansion
  • The ability to proactively identify and open new strategic relationships

The strongest candidates will combine commercial capability with technical curiosity.

You might currently work in Technology Partnerships, Strategic Alliances, Product Partnerships or Ecosystem Partnerships and be looking for an opportunity where you can take significantly more ownership.

Why Join?

This is a genuine build-from-scratch opportunity.

You won’t inherit a mature partner programme or simply manage an existing portfolio.

You’ll have:

  • Ownership of a completely new strategic initiative
  • Direct exposure to CXO and executive leadership
  • The opportunity to build the partnership strategy and programme from the ground up
  • Significant autonomy around which partnerships and ecosystems to pursue
  • Freedom to explore emerging technologies and new commercial models
  • An established customer base against which partnerships can create value
  • The opportunity to influence both product and commercial strategy
  • Clear expectations for partnerships to become a meaningful revenue stream
  • Significant scope for the role to grow as the function develops

If you’ve built technology partnerships, strategic alliances or product partnerships and want your next move to give you genuine ownership and visible commercial impact, I’d be keen to speak.
