Strategic Technology Sourcing & Procurement Manager
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Technology Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies across technology and corporate services categories. This role will be responsible for driving value through strategic procurement, commercial negotiations, supplier relationship management, and end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
The successful candidate will partner closely with senior business stakeholders, technology teams, legal teams, and suppliers to deliver cost optimization, risk mitigation, service excellence, and long-term strategic value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Deliver strategic procurement initiatives that enhance value, reduce risk, and improve supplier performance.
Technology Procurement
- Lead strategic sourcing and commercial management across technology-related categories, including:
- Enterprise software licensing (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, and similar platforms).
- Cloud services and consumption-based commercial models (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and related solutions).
- Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing pricing structures, payment milestones, renewals, and intellectual property provisions.
- Managing vendor governance and strategic supplier relationships.

Contract & Vendor Management
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contractual discussions with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and approvals.
- Drive supplier performance improvements through structured KPI and SLA management.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify commercial, operational, and supplier risks across procurement categories.
- Develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and supply resilience.
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and procurement best practices.

Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 progressive years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management with major IT exposure.
- Proven experience within large multinational or highly matrixed corporate environments.
- Proven expertise in strategic procurement and commercial negotiations, including:
- Enterprise software licensing (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, etc.)
- Cloud based solutions and associated commercial modelling, including Google, Azure, AWS, etc.
- Software development contracts, including IP rights, pricing models, payment milestones, etc.
- Comprehensive spend and category analysis, development and implementation of robust category strategies.
- Support and maintenance agreements, including availability, uptime/downtime, SLAs/KPIs models, penalty structuring (Primary focus – approximately 70% of workload).
