Role Description

The Strategic Viral Marketer – Organic Social will lead the development and execution of organic social media initiatives to grow brand awareness, engagement and community for Candles & Oud. This full-time, on-site role in London involves:

The Strategic Viral Marketer will analyze performance data, refine strategy based on insights, and actively engage with the online community through comments, messages and collaborations. The role also requires close partnership with marketing, retail and e-commerce teams to ensure organic social supports launches, campaigns and long-term brand storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in organic social media strategy, including planning content calendars, defining growth tactics and aligning social with broader brand goals.
  • Proven ability to create engaging, shareable content (copy, short-form video, imagery) tailored to platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging channels.
  • Skill in social listening, trend spotting and cultural insight gathering, with the ability to translate trends into brand-appropriate, viral-ready concepts.
  • Competence in analytics and optimization, using platform insights and third-party tools to track performance, run experiments and continually improve results.
  • Experience in community building and management, including responding to comments, managing DMs, encouraging user-generated content and nurturing advocates.
  • Understanding of brand storytelling and visual identity, with the ability to work closely with designers, videographers and photographers to produce cohesive campaigns.
  • Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a clear, modern tone suitable for luxury and lifestyle audiences.
