Conversion & Commerce

Most brand work tries to change how people feel. Ours has to change what they do.

We're looking for a Strategist to join our Conversion & Commerce team, working on one of the UK's biggest brands. The job is about the moment a customer decides: why they hesitate, what tips them into acting, and how communications can close that gap at scale. You'll take complicated propositions and make them simple and persuasive, and you'll be judged on whether the work actually moves the numbers.

You'll sit between creative ambition and commercial accountability. You'll work with creatives, media and channel specialists, account leads and fellow strategists, and you'll be expected to bring a point of view, not just a deck.

What you'll do

  • Shape the thinking behind action-led campaigns. You'll set the strategic direction for retail, acquisition and performance work, from the big idea down to the individual touchpoint.
  • Make the complex simple. You'll build audience, proposition and messaging frameworks that turn dense offers into narratives people understand quickly and act on.
  • Find the signal in the data. You'll interrogate campaign performance, behavioural patterns and market shifts, and turn them into clear, prioritised opportunities, not just reporting.
  • Turn objectives into decisions. You'll translate business goals and customer insight into recommendations teams can execute and clients can sign off.
  • Write briefs that make the work better. You'll guide creative development so ideas are rooted in real audience tension and built to perform.
  • Work across disciplines. You'll partner with creative, channel and account teams to build joined-up strategies across the customer journey.
  • Push the practice forward. You'll share what's working, test new approaches, and help shape how our Conversion & Commerce offer evolves.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
