About the Role
As a Strategist, Enterprise, you will work with global organizations as they transform for the AI era. Our clients are leaders in their industries, operating across markets worldwide, and we work with their C-suites and business leaders as well as the executives who run their AI, Product, Marketing, Design, and Data teams. The role operates on two fronts. First, you will help these enterprises build durable, organization-wide AI capability: the skills, processes, tools, and digital operating models their people need to work differently. On the second, you will support senior leaders as they explore the digital and AI innovation opportunities emerging in their industries, including how AI will reshape the products they build and the customer experiences they deliver.
This is transformation work. You will help clients understand where they stand today, define where they need to be, and shape the roadmap that gets them there. You follow developments in AI and digital technology closely and you can explain what they mean for a business leader. Working across our teams, you will support discovery, help shape engagements, contribute to workshops, produce the materials that carry an engagement from first conversation to committed program, and help grow the relationships you work on. You will bring a consultant's discipline to this work: you are comfortable working with executives, you can help turn an ambiguous business problem into a structured point of view, and you hold a high standard for the quality of what you produce.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with C-suite executives, business leaders, and the leaders of AI, Product, Marketing, Design, and Data teams, and open strategic conversations about how their organizations build enterprise-wide AI capability
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for your clients, guiding them through opportunity discovery, keeping them informed and supported throughout the engagement, and helping identify where the relationship can grow
- Learn each client's business model, digital operating context, and competitive pressures well enough to recognize where new capability would materially change how their teams perform
- Support discovery and current-state assessment across people, process, and technology, including stakeholder interviews, capability and maturity assessments, and analysis of how work gets done
- Contribute to the design of target-state capabilities, digital operating models, and ways of working, and help clients sequence the change into a credible transformation roadmap
- Contribute to our advisory work on digital and AI innovation, including how AI is changing products, customer experience, and competitive dynamics within a client's industry
- Help design, facilitate, and coordinate executive workshops and working sessions that produce decisions and momentum
- Structure and author proposals, executive presentations, business cases, and engagement documentation to a standard a senior client audience expects, and support pursuits and follow-on opportunities
- Track the AI, digital, and innovation landscape, contribute to BrainStation's point of view, and use our thought leadership platform and events to open new conversations with the market

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
