About the Company
An independent, Birmingham-based media agency built around a behavioural planning philosophy using how audiences actually think, feel, and act to shape strategy, rather than working off modeled assumptions. The team is small but well established, working as a genuine extension of clients’ own marketing departments. They cover a broad mix of accounts and channels, with a strong focus on translating audience behaviour into media and communications strategy.
About the Team
Strategy sits at the center of how this agency operates. It's not a siloed function producing decks that gather dust; it directly shapes what every account does next, across the full client roster. If you want your thinking to actually influence output, this is the team to be on.
About the Position
This is a generalist Strategist role sitting across all client accounts, not ring-fenced to a single sector or channel. You'll be central to how the agency joins the dots between research, insight, and the final strategic output shaping the thinking that underpins each client's approach rather than executing a media plan. Alongside day-to-day account strategy, you'll play an active role in new business, contributing to and helping shape pitches as the agency looks to grow its client base. This is a considered hire rather than an urgent backfill.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
