The Role

This 10m internship (starting in October 2026) presents an excellent opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in strategic analysis. As a Strategy Analyst, you will play a meaningful role in shaping business decisions through critical thinking and data-driven insight.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to real business decisions, conduct independent research, and support the broader strategy function with insight, rigour, and creativity. You will take ownership of a focused research initiative, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to internal reporting and recommendations.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our lovely offices in Leamington Spa 3 days a week, with 2 days at home. We are keen to encourage all applications, so if you need any adjustments, please apply and speak to your recruiter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by conducting research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking
  • Lead a research project in a defined strategic area from scoping and methodology to data collection and presenting findings (with support from senior colleagues)
  • Help evaluate new business opportunities, emerging trends, and operational challenges
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Assist with data gathering and analysis to inform decision-making
  • Support day-to-day strategic planning and coordination activities

Experience

  • Currently enrolled or completed a university degree programme (business, economics, data science, or similar disciplines welcome)
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Curious mindset and interest in business strategy and decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and confident working independently or as part of a team
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking on new challenges
  • Internship to run from approximately October 2026 through to September 2027

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
