Description

The Role:

Opportunity for Strategy and Execution Support position within Facultative GB, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Execution, GB. Responsibility for supporting with the development and implementation of the segment’s strategy and operations, as well as project management and planning assistance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing team and to play a meaningful role in further developing our operational capabilities. The role offers fantastic opportunities to further develop a career, as the remit is broad and will span across multiple Facultative teams.

  • Work closely with the Facultative leadership team to support and provide project management for the segment’s strategic initiatives and operations.
  • Partner with D&F Marketing, PR and internal communications to continue to guide the Facultative strategy in this area.
  • Assisting on documents, presentations and maintaining strategic databases – supporting on strategy, business plans, sales initiatives and marketing documents.
  • Support the delivery of the Facultative business plan and in line with the additional focus areas agreed with the Head of Facultative (GB and Europe), including the collection and analysis of key information and determination of metrics.
  • Support leadership to achieve business plan priorities and monitoring execution against these plans, including ad hoc assistance for various leadership team members.
  • Facilitate regular meetings for D&F & CRB Business and Corporate Function Leads including agenda setting, content development and soliciting material/feedback where necessary.
  • Support agenda management and organization of D&F leadership in-person meetings.
  • Prepare materials to support the Head of Facultative (GB and Europe) with presentations to various groups, including the WTW Operating Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams, often working virtually, demonstrating effectiveness when dealing with colleagues at all levels.
  • Oversee project governance, provide strategic input and manage progress reports for Facultative strategic investments.
  • Continuously develop an in-depth knowledge of Facultative’s businesses, internally and externally.
  • Arranging team meetings and events, onboarding new employees and clients.
  • Assist with wider administration tasks (such as expenses submission.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in professional services, insurance, or consulting experience; experience in multi-line of business environments or organizations with a matrix orientation strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the WTW Operating Model.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior colleagues and business leaders across businesses and functions and exhibit strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with shifting priorities, ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail and on time delivery.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work independently and virtually.
  • An ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential matters.
  • Strong client service orientation, flexibility, and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscape.
  • Experience in project coordination, planning, and management.
  • Ability to pursue a global segment approach, objectively, without a bias to a particular region or line of business.
