Role Overview

Are you curious about how organisations make long-term strategic decisions, identify future opportunities and turn ideas into action?

We're looking for a Strategy and Innovation Associate to help shape the future of Nest's propositions and customer experience. Working across both the Customer Strategy and Innovation teams, you'll help explore some of the most important opportunities facing Nest, from improving outcomes for members, employers and connectors to identifying emerging trends that could influence our future direction.

This is a varied role where no two weeks are the same. You could be:

  • Analysing customer, competitor or market insights
  • Supporting the development of a major strategic project
  • Investigating new technologies and industry innovations
  • Contributing to business cases
  • Helping to run workshops with colleagues from across the organisation

You'll work closely with senior colleagues and stakeholders, helping to turn complex information into clear recommendations and supporting strategic discussions that influence future decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is analytical, curious and eager to learn. You'll gain exposure to strategy development, innovation discovery, customer propositions and senior stakeholder engagement, while building skills that are highly valued across a wide range of strategy, insight and innovation careers.

The minimum criteria for this role are:

  • Experience in a strategy, innovation, insight, research, proposition or other analytical role (or relevant learning).
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, assess and synthesise information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to translate insights into clear implications, recommendations and actions for stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear presentations, summaries and reports.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
