Description
As a Senior Consultant in our Strategy & Transformation team, you will be client-focused, managing projects and supporting organisations to identify and unlock business value through sustainability programmes and initiatives.
(Note: We are welcoming applicants based in the UK and Dublin for this role.)
You will bring strong knowledge of key sustainability topics, such as climate and circularity, alongside experience managing large workstreams and/or smaller projects. You will also have strong commercial modelling skills, with an understanding of how organisations use data to model different business scenarios and translate these into decision-useful insights.
In addition to project delivery, you will contribute to our long-term growth by supporting the development of our market proposition and business development activities.
Summary Of Role & Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Delivery – 80% of time
- Project Management – managing the delivery of agreed consulting engagements / projects on time, on budget, and to high standards of quality.
- Expert input – contributing to / leading aspects of project work and providing an expert viewpoint.
- Client Relationship Building – earning the confidence and trust of client teams, and representing our direct clients’ interests effectively inside their organisations.
- Commercial Modelling and ROI² Development (return on investment and impact) – developing and applying commercial models that link sustainability and strategy initiatives to tangible business outcomes.
- Bringing experience in business model design, business case development to strengthen our ROI² offer in the region, support business development activities, and enable the sale and delivery of strategy engagements with a stronger commercial focus.

Business Development – 10% of time
- Service development – contributing to the development of our strategy and transformation service offering and/or streamlining and improving existing service offerings.
- Key Account Development – helping to guide and support deeper and longer-term partnerships with valuable and impactful clients over time.
- Proposal / Bid Writing & Presentation – discussing, framing, designing, pricing and presenting project proposals (with the guidance and support of colleagues)
- Thought Leadership & Marketing – supporting the team and wider business in lead generation and brand-building through the creation of IP and marketing materials.
Organisational & Personal Development – 10% of time
- Training & Personal Development – using the ACE (Anthesis Centre of Excellence) learning and development platform, and guided by your line manager.
- Strategic & Organisational Initiatives – contributing to important internal initiatives and innovation (e.g. culture, AI usage).
Key Requirements, Skills Knowledge & Expertise
We believe that great contributors can come from various backgrounds, and we welcome those shifting into the sustainability space from adjacent fields. As guidance, at this level, we typically look for:
- 4+ years experience in strategy / transformation consulting, preferably from a leading management consultancy or sustainability consultancy.
- Or 5+ years’ experience in-house, in a related organisational function / field, where proving the business case for change programmes was required.
- Strong fluency in sustainability topics (e.g. climate, circularity)
- Previous experience with sustainability strategy, larger transformation programmes and change management is desirable.
- Strong financial modelling skills is a must, as is experience in talking to CFOs / finance professionals in client organisations.
- Good working familiarity with MS Office Suite is required, with high levels of numeracy and strong Excel skills required.
- Ability to use and embed AI into key workflows and processes (external and internal).
