AI Enablement Strategy Associate
Help shape how AI is adopted at scale and embedded into real business workflows. In this role, you will work with a high-visibility leadership team focused on delivering measurable commercial impact through AI. You will gain broad exposure across strategic priorities and senior stakeholders, while building a strong foundation in AI-enabled transformation. If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity and translating strategy into execution, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact.
As a Strategy Associate in the AI Enablement team within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will support the PMO for AI upskilling and adoption and partner across the broader AI Enablement leadership team. You will translate complex, fast-moving activity into coordinated execution, clear management information, and executive-ready decision support. Acting in a Chief of Staff capacity to AI Enablement Leads, you will connect work across pillars, identify dependencies and emerging risks, and help leaders make informed decisions. You will flex across priorities rather than sit within a single pillar, shifting focus as needs evolve. This role is well-suited to someone with a strategy or consulting mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Translate complex information into concise executive insights, recommendations, and actions
- Drive planning across priorities, highlighting dependencies, risks, blockers, and decisions
- Apply structured problem-solving and analysis to strategic priorities
- Coordinate initiatives across AI Enablement pillars, flexing support as priorities evolve
- Develop reporting and insights on AI adoption, engagement, and impact
- Support business and functional stakeholder engagement, coordinating actions and follow-through
- Maintain effective governance and operating rhythms across the portfolio

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
