Strategy Associate Director

Location: London

Career Level: Associate Director

Salary: Competitive, plus benefits.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Strategy Associate Director to join our UKI End-to-End Value Chain team, a senior leadership community focused on the market's most complex supply chain, procurement, engineering, and operating model transformations. You will combine board-level strategic advisory with hands-on commercial leadership - shaping the market, originating opportunities, mobilizing pursuit teams, and sponsoring delivery.

You will help clients move from siloed functional improvement to connected, intent-driven, and AI-enabled value chains spanning Sourcing & Procurement, Planning & Fulfilment, Manufacturing & Operations, Engineering & R&D, and service. A key focus will be End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention and Global Business Services (GBS) strategy and design - reshaping how work is organized, governed, and delivered, and building the value cases that secure executive investment.

Why this role

Join a high-impact team operating at the intersection of strategy, technology, and delivery. You will have the platform to shape a priority growth agenda spanning End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention and GBS transformation, lead market-defining client work, and draw on Accenture's global capabilities and technology ecosystem.

In this role you will:

  • Client leadership: Originate and shape large-scale End-to-End Value Chain and Operating Model Reinvention programmes, including GBS strategy and design, across Industrials, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy & Resources, and Life Sciences.
  • Executive advisory: Build trusted relationships with CPOs, CSCOs, COOs, and GBS leaders, translating board priorities into target operating models, service delivery strategies, and investment roadmaps.
  • Commercial leadership: Set pursuit strategy for complex, multi-workstream opportunities and lead proposition design, value case development, commercial shaping, and executive engagement.
  • Programme sponsorship: Sponsor major delivery programmes, maintaining alignment to the value case, client outcomes, and key performance indicators while addressing delivery and commercial risks.
  • Innovation: Define the UKI point of view on End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention, GBS strategy and design, agentic process transformation, connected digital twins, and resilient and sustainable value chains.
  • Ecosystem mobilisation: Bring together SC&E capabilities and partners such as SAP, Kinaxis, Coupa, Palantir, and NVIDIA to create differentiated client propositions.
  • Practice leadership: Grow the Value Chain community through recruitment, capability building, career development, thought leadership, and external market presence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
