Media, Entertainment, and Sport

Do you have a deep interest in the media, entertainment and sports sectors? Are you passionate about finding innovative solutions to strategic issues?

We are a specialist and highly influential consultancy behind many of the news stories and developments across the media and sports industries. We work with the world’s leading media and sports organisations, covering a broad spectrum of activities, from high-level corporate strategy, M&A advice, sports rights valuations, to policy and regulatory work.

We are looking for a consultant to join the team; this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic group, working on a range of challenging and interesting projects, often shaping the future of the sector.

The role

You will be an integral part of a project team: developing outputs, managing Associate input, and working closely with our clients – while developing your knowledge and expertise. In particular, you will:

  • Work across our practice areas for clients operating at all stages of the value chain
  • Manage projects for our clients, taking the lead on day-to-day client liaison, and leading our report drafting
  • Contribute to the design of our analysis and develop hypotheses to help tackle our clients’ problems
  • Marshal the input of more junior members of the team, contributing to their development and training
  • Engage in discussions that help shape the future of our clients’ businesses
  • Contribute to the thought leadership shared between the company and those interested in the sector
  • Be part of a highly creative and cerebral learning and research environment
  • Help to identify business opportunities, by developing and maintaining client relationships

Experience, background and skills required

  • 3+ years' experience in a consultancy business, with a proven track record for managing projects, while building strong working relationships with clients
  • Strong quantitative (including modelling) and qualitative skills
  • Experience working within the sector is preferred; as a minimum, a very strong interest in and understanding of the media sector including of what is driving change, and the opportunities and challenges it presents
  • At least a 2.1 in a relevant subject, from a respected university
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
