Senior Strategy Consultant (SC Cleared)
Location: Reading / Hybrid
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance (Essential)
Salary: 600 - 900 (GBP)
Contract: 6 - Months
Senior Strategy Consultant
Are you an experienced Management Consultant with a passion for shaping strategy across the Defence sector? We're looking for an accomplished Senior Strategy Consultant to join a high-performing consultancy delivering complex transformation and strategic advisory services.
This is an opportunity to work with senior Defence stakeholders, influence strategic decision-making, and deliver meaningful outcomes across nationally significant programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver strategic consulting engagements for Defence and National Security clients.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor.
- Analyse complex challenges and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Present insights and executive-level briefings to senior decision-makers.
- Facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Work across multiple stakeholder groups to align priorities and drive successful outcomes.
- Take ownership of project delivery, remaining hands-on throughout the engagement rather than simply managing delivery teams.

What We're Looking For
- Active SC Clearance (essential).
- 7–10 years' experience within a recognised Management Consultancy.
- Proven experience delivering strategy consulting engagements.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with confidence presenting to senior leaders.
- Experience providing strategic insight that influences business and organisational decisions.
- Demonstrable experience working with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) or wider Defence sector (essential).
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to personally deliver high-quality work.
