Help TA, Talent and HR tech vendors shape what comes next
Udder is a talent and HR technology consultancy. For years we've helped employers choose, implement and get value from recruitment and assessment technology. Increasingly, vendors themselves are asking for our help too: designing new professional services, migrating client bases onto new platforms, automating how they respond to the market, and rethinking the customer experience end to end.
That side of our business is growing fast, and we need another strategist to help us deliver it. If you know the HR and TA tech ecosystem inside out and enjoy turning messy questions into clear plans, this is a chance to sit at the table where those decisions get made.
What you'll do
You'll work partner-facing on strategy projects for HR and Talent software providers. No two will look the same, but expect to:

- Run market research and competitor benchmarking, and turn what you find into trends, opportunities and recommendations
- Build strategic plans, roadmaps and business cases that stand up to scrutiny
- Design new services and service models with customer experience and efficiency at the heart
- Lead co-creation workshops with clients and bring innovation methodologies to bear on real problems
- Keep projects on track: milestones, risks, dependencies and clear communication to everyone involved
- Build strong relationships with client teams and with colleagues across Udder
What you'll bring
A solid background in strategy consulting, whether in a large consultancy, a TA, Talent or HR consultancy or in-house at a vendor
- Deep experience in or around Talent Acquisition, with a strong grasp of ATS, HRIS/HCM platforms and the wider HR tech landscape
- Hands-on service design experience
- Proven delivery of HR technology transformations in a consulting environment
- Confidence analysing large, complex datasets and explaining what they mean to any audience
- Excellent project management and communication skills

- Contract, six months initially
- Entirely remote
- Start as soon as you're able, ideally mid-October 2026
