Strategy & Delivery Manager

Barbican, London | Hybrid Working | Sales & Business Development | Permanent | Full-Time

Competitive salary available, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

At Nuffield Health, our purpose is to build a healthier nation. As Strategy & Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our organisational strategy, working closely with the Head of Strategy & Customer Experience and senior leaders across the business.

Supporting our five strategic ambitions, you will help develop and execute strategic plans, drive transformational change, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact initiatives that enhance customer experience, improve operational performance, and strengthen our position as the UK's leading health and wellbeing charity.

As our Strategy & Delivery Manager you’ll:

  • Support the development, review and execution of group and business unit strategies in partnership with Executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights, translating findings into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the development of business cases, financial modelling and high-quality papers for Executive, Board and governance committees.
  • Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives, transformation programmes, new products and service launches across the organisation.
  • Build alignment around strategic priorities, ensuring effective collaboration across business units, sites and central teams.
  • Provide focused support to emerging or stalled initiatives, identifying solutions and creating momentum for delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to shape commercial opportunities, proposition development and organisational change programmes.

To succeed as a Strategy & Delivery Manager you’ll bring:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience developing strategy reviews, business cases and evaluating market opportunities.
  • Demonstrable success delivering strategic initiatives within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver business change.
  • Ability to build credibility and work effectively with senior stakeholders, including Executive and Board-level leaders.
  • Background in management consulting, strategy, transformation or strategic delivery roles, ideally within the UK healthcare or wellbeing sector.
