Strategy Director

We are hiring a Strategy Director to help shape the future of some of our most important client relationships. This is a pivotal role for a strategic leader who enjoys connecting business ambition, human insight, and creative excellence to deliver meaningful impact. You'll set the direction for brands and communications programmes, influence senior stakeholders, and help teams create work that is both commercially effective and culturally relevant. Along the way, you'll mentor talented strategists and play a key role in driving outstanding strategic thinking across the agency.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define and lead the strategic vision across a portfolio of key client accounts, creating clear long-term brand and communications roadmaps.
  • Establish objectives, success measures, and effectiveness frameworks that ensure work delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop strategists at different stages of their careers, strengthening strategic capability across the team.
  • Connect global brand strategy with local market execution, ensuring consistency and relevance across multiple markets and audiences.
  • Turn data, research, market dynamics, and cultural shifts into compelling insights that inspire impactful creative solutions.
  • Partner closely with creative, account, media, and data teams to guide ideas from brief through to delivery while maintaining strategic integrity.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, confidently presenting recommendations and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Significant experience leading strategy on complex client businesses within an advertising, creative, or integrated agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of effectiveness principles and a passion for delivering work that creates both commercial value and cultural relevance.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, human-centred insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at a high level.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing strategists to help them grow their skills and careers.
  • Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to work across disciplines while remaining hands-on when needed.
