Role Overview

The Director of Strategy will be responsible for shaping and delivering the long-term strategic direction of Levy's catering and hospitality operation across the NEC Group portfolio. • Lead strategic planning across Levy's NEC Group operations, ensuring alignment with both Levy UK & Ireland and NEC Group objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activity to inform strategic decision making.
  • Present strategic recommendations and business cases to senior leadership, supported by data-driven insight.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and accountability.

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline cross-functional processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Introduce meaningful KPIs and performance measures that support operational excellence.
  • Champion technology and digital innovation to improve scheduling, resource planning and guest experience.
  • Work closely with Facilities, IT and Commercial teams to ensure operational strategies remain scalable and future-focused.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews and benchmarking to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
