3078 - Strategy Director, Media Strategy - UK

We're seeking a strategic thinker with expertise in media effectiveness and storytelling to join our team at T&P. Your role will involve shaping client communications through insightful strategies, fostering innovation, and maintaining effective measurement processes.

This role will include one of our integrated clients and the successful candidate will be the senior strategy practitioner. As such, it is ideally suited for a strategist who is keen to develop a broader skillset than media alone, as well as gain experience managing senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Whilst your average to-do list will vary from day to day, typical responsibilities will include:

  • Leading strategic responses, narratives for pitches as well as delivering genuine data-driven insight to client teams
  • Delivering key internal strategic workstreams, planning and insight training as well as encouraging agency creativity and innovation
  • Presenting work in agency forums, leading agency brainstorms as well as identifying and developing award entries
  • Staying up to date with trends and sharing this with strategy teams alongside contributing to thought pieces and external events

Skills and Experience

We are most interested in your ability to articulate the client’s challenge succinctly and turn that into actionable instructions for media planning teams. The skillset and experience you may have had to get to this point may vary but in general will include:

  • Both ATL and Digital media channel knowledge
  • The gravitas to be a trusted strategic partner to key clients
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the agency
  • Understanding of effectiveness best practice and a willingness to improvise to deliver competitive advantage
  • Most importantly, you will be curious, clear, and creative in your thinking, writing, and speaking.
