About The Role

Strategy Execution & Development Lead

12 Month FTC

Salary up to £80,000

Hybrid working, which includes twice-weekly attendance at the Andover Office

Turn strategy into momentum. Shape what’s next.

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Strategy Execution & Development Lead to help shape the future of Simplyhealth and turn strategic ambition into tangible results.

This role is for someone who can see the bigger picture, look beyond today, and turn complexity into clarity. You’ll bring a strong track record of working with strategy, using insight, data and commercial thinking to understand where the market is heading, identify opportunities and help define where we should play and how we can win.

You’ll take a holistic view of the organisation, connecting our Group strategy with our Lines of Business, capabilities, priorities and plans and translate strategic intent into clear, meaningful language that inspires action. You’ll help leaders understand not just what we want to achieve, but why it matters, what needs to happen, and where we should focus our energy and investment.

You’ll be comfortable working in ambiguity, challenging thinking and making sense of incomplete information. With a strong analytical mindset, you’ll turn data into insight, quantify opportunities and trade-offs, and use evidence to support high-quality commercial decisions.

Just as importantly, you’ll be an exceptional relationship builder and influencer. You’ll work across the organisation and with senior stakeholders, building trust, bringing people together around a common direction and confidently challenging when needed. You’ll have the verbal and communication skills to make complex strategic thinking accessible, compelling and actionable from working sessions with teams through to senior leadership and Board-level discussions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
