What your days will look like:
- Take ownership of defined workstreams within complex strategy engagements, managing activities, timelines and outputs to a high standard.
- Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, drawing on market data, customer insight, financial information and industry research.
- Develop strategic insights and recommendations that are commercially grounded, evidence-based and relevant to the client’s objectives.
- Produce clear, concise and compelling presentations, reports and other client deliverables. Build effective working relationships with client teams and contribute to trusted day-to-day client interactions.
- Support business development through research, proposal development, credentials preparation and the creation of client materials.
- Build expertise in relevant financial services sectors, capabilities and strategic topics, while maintaining awareness of wider market and economic developments.

This role is for you if:
- Experience working within Strategy and/or M&A related activity.
- Specific experience working with banks, insurers, wealth or asset managers on one or more of the following: Corporate or BU strategy; Growth & product strategy; M&A, Integration; Strategic operating model; Cost transformation; Customer journey / process development.
- Clear, evidence-backed points of view on the future of financial services (across sub sectors) and the commercial implications for incumbents and challengers alike.
- Ability to apply top-down strategic thinking to complex, ambiguous and unfamiliar problems.
- Ability to work with quantitative data and structuring quantitative analysis, including a willingness to develop skills in data analytics e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience in communicating with senior Executives in oral and written form.
- Proven track record in working with others to ensure high performance, with the ability to quickly and confidently develop relationships, including in challenging situations.
