Strategy & Insights Analyst

The Strategy & Insights Analyst supports the UK and EMEA business to drive data-led growth by identifying key performance drivers, optimising store network strategy, and informing commercial decision-making. The role ensures insights are robust, actionable, and aligned to business priorities, leveraging analysis of store performance, customer behaviour, macro trends, and competitive dynamics. It contributes to defining optimal market presence, formats, and growth opportunities across company-owned and licensed stores.

Operating within the Strategy & Transformation team, the role produces high-quality insights for Finance business partners and business leaders, while collating and translating licensee data for the International Grow Report. Operating across cross-functional teams, the role requires strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.

Here, You’ll Achieve Results By

  • Analyse store performance, P&L drivers, customer behaviour, and macro trends to identify growth drivers and produce actionable insights for Finance business partners and senior leaders.
  • Build and maintain market capacity and network models, informing optimal store placement, formats, and long-term portfolio growth across company-owned and licensed markets.
  • Produce, automate, and continuously enhance reporting tools and dashboards using Excel and Power BI, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment to evolving business priorities.
  • Collate, validate, and translate licensee data to support International Grow Report requirements, ensuring consistent, accurate, and insight-led reporting across regional and global stakeholders.
  • Lead structured problem-solving, develop hypotheses, and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations through high-quality presentations, influencing decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Strong experience in business planning, reporting and performance analysis, generating accurate, insight-led outputs that support decision-making and track delivery against commercial and operational objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau with experience building dashboards and reports; familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience within retail, FMCG, international or franchise environments, with understanding of performance drivers, operational dynamics, and translating data into commercially relevant insights.
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to present insights effectively, working both independently and collaboratively across teams to influence stakeholders and support cross-functional outcomes.
  • High attention to detail with strong prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs within fast-paced, dynamic, and continuously evolving business environments.
