Strategy Manager / Hybrid: Manchester or London

Join Smart DCC as a Strategy Manager and play a key role in shaping strategic priorities across the organisation. You’ll combine strategic thinking, market intelligence and high-quality analysis to provide clear insight and recommendations that support senior decision-making and help shape the future of the business.

How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future
- Lead the delivery of strategic materials that clearly communicate the medium-term priorities of the business and support effective stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to DCC’s market intelligence capability, providing internal and external analysis that informs strategic recommendations and decision-making.
- Produce high-quality strategic insight, including regular reporting and deep-dive analysis, to support the delivery of DCC’s strategic priorities.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business priorities, gather insight and support the effective communication of strategy.
- Support senior Strategy leaders and functional teams with strategic initiatives, analysis, briefing materials and the development and refresh of functional strategies.
What you need to bring
- Proven experience applying a broad range of strategic and business analysis frameworks, ideally gained within a regulated organisation, government or utilities environment.
- Strong understanding of the UK energy sector and a genuine interest in the energy transition.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear, compelling reports and briefings for senior audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
