Communications Strategy Manager - Global FMCG Client | Leading Global Media Agency 📍 London | Full-time | Global Communications Strategy

A leading global media agency (part of a major international network) is looking for a Communications Strategy Manager to join the team working on one of the world's biggest FMCG clients - spanning multiple household brands and markets including the UK, US, Brazil, and Indonesia.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to work on big, ambitious global brands, collaborating closely with creative, PR, and social teams on award-winning, culturally-led communications strategy.

About the Role

As Communications Strategy Manager, you'll support the wider strategy team in developing creative, insight-led comms strategy for a major global brand portfolio. You'll work closely with senior strategists and clients day-to-day, contributing to workshops, presentations, and cross-channel strategic thinking - with genuine exposure to global partnerships and big-idea development.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the development of comms and media strategy across a major global FMCG brand
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with creative, PR, and social teams
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and strategic status updates
  • Contributing to global partnership and innovation opportunities
  • Bringing creative, cultural thinking to data-informed strategy

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Media strategy or planning background (agency-side)
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills — ability to translate insight into a compelling narrative
  • Comfortable working directly with clients day-to-day (no dedicated account management layer on this team)
  • Genuine interest in strategy as a craft, not just planning execution

Desirable:

  • Experience across global or multi-market campaigns
  • Comfortable working with data/tools, balanced with creative/cultural thinking
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, PR, or social teams
  • Exposure to global partnerships or big-idea/innovation work

Salary:

Up to ÂŁ45,000 (DOE)
