Specifically, we are looking for someone capable of understanding complex technology and business challenges, translating them into clear strategic direction for our clients, and helping them move decisively forward.

We are looking for a Strategy Manager with strong experience in strategy and transformation, who is excited about leading complex initiatives, growing teams, and helping shape a fast-growing consulting practice.

- Lead end-to-end strategy and transformation projects, from initial hypothesis and proposal through execution and delivery.
- Take full ownership of project planning, milestones, and outcomes, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable business impact.
- Support strategic business initiatives by providing deep analysis, insights, and a strong understanding of business context and objectives.
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Design and drive operating model and change management initiatives, supporting organizational transformation.
- Articulate insights and recommendations in clear, compelling executive-level presentations.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (UX, UI, Brand, Data, Technology, etc.) to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to actively involve clients in VML The Cocktail’s creative and strategic process.
- Identify client needs and opportunities that may lead to new business proposals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and global business dynamics to continuously evolve our strategic offering.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
