Strategy & Operations Associate
We're partnering with an innovative organisation in the global sports and live events sector to appoint a Strategy & Operations Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery to improve how world-class international events are planned and executed.
Working across a portfolio of large-scale events, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational performance, and help build scalable frameworks that support future growth. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, operations and data, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure events are delivered efficiently, consistently, and to the highest standards.
The Opportunity
This is a highly varied role where you'll support strategic initiatives across multiple international events rather than focusing on a single project. You'll analyse operational performance, challenge existing ways of working, and help implement improvements that enhance delivery quality, reduce complexity, and drive greater efficiency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
