Consultant - Strategy & Operations | International Capital Markets Fintech | London (Hybrid 2–3 days) | Permanent
We’re partnering with a fast-scaling international fintech transforming how complex transactions are managed across global capital markets. Following significant client traction and international expansion, they’re hiring a Consultant - Strategy & Operations to support the delivery of major client programmes and help build the operational capability behind the business’s next stage of growth.
This is an opportunity to move beyond a traditional junior consulting role. You’ll work inside a growing fintech, gaining direct exposure to senior leadership, major financial institutions and complex technology programmes, while developing quickly across strategy, operations and client delivery.

Based in London, you’ll work alongside experienced strategy and operations leaders and have exposure to senior stakeholders across banking, capital markets and technology. To be considered
You’ll need experience within financial services consulting, fintech, banking change or transformation, with exposure to delivering projects in a client or stakeholder-facing environment.
How you’ll make an impact
- Support the day-to-day delivery of complex client programmes
- Own individual project deliverables and help keep programmes moving
- Build presentations, reports and analysis for clients and senior leadership
- Analyse data and turn findings into clear, practical recommendations
- Review and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) feedback
- Translate business and client requirements into actions for technology teams
- Support project planning, governance and stakeholder reporting
- Work directly with colleagues and clients across financial services and technology
- Identify operational improvements as the business continues to scale
- Take on broader strategy and operations projects as your experience develops
Why you’re a great fit
- Around 3–4 years’ experience within consulting, fintech or financial services change and transformation
- Experience contributing to client-facing or internal transformation programmes
- Comfortable taking ownership of deliverables without needing to have led entire programmes
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders
- Good understanding of financial services and regulated environments
- Comfortable working across business, operations and technology
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved wherever the business needs support
