Bankside, London | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
About the role
Your role as the Strategy Partner on Allwyn (the operator of The National Lottery) means you will be leading the long-term strategic direction for one of the biggest media accounts in the UK working closely and collaboratively with the agencies Chief Strategy Officer.
You’ll be responsible for the overall quality of work ensuring clients are excited by the potential of media and the internal agency teams are inspired to deliver best in class, award winning media thinking and delivery.
What you will bring to the role
- Expert communications and media practitioner that can comfortably move between higher order strategic thinking and the art and craft of connected media planning as well as between paid, owned, shared and earned communications.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills; ability to influence and persuade in the boardroom with senior stakeholders as well as work closely with Allwyn’s SLT on marketing strategy.
- Able to think expansively and be both informed and inspired by data. You can join the dots on a variety of stimulus – whether that be performance data, ethnography or segmentations – as well as a variety of disciplines and departments to create game changing but simple to understand strategy
- Comfortable with a new world of machine learning, data and analytics and technology and how it can increase the potency of strategy.
- Well versed in the world of marketing evidence, effectiveness and the Ehrenberg Bass institute and how it can be applied to grow businesses and brands
- Creative thinker who can not only collaborate with the creative agency and their senior strategists (and our own creative solutions team) but lead them to create new types of connections and experiences
- Challenges the status quo and the conventions of what’s been done before and is excited by the potential of new data, technology or platforms in an ever changing media landscape
- Has an opinion on brands, advertising, media and communications and isn’t afraid to express it.
