About The Role

As a senior manager in Strategy&’s Pharma Life Sciences group, you are a leading thought-partner to clients, solving problems and running the day-to-day activities of client engagements. You will engage in client engagement through problem solving, building client relationships and managing personal development of the team. Working with consultants from across our global offices, you will have the opportunity to interact with leading international clients across the PLS industry.

On projects, you are the point-of-contact for client stakeholders and manage daily activities of the team to deliver project milestones. Typical daily activities include structuring client problems, story-boarding project approaches and coordinating multiple workstreams. You will be supported by a Director and Partner, while providing direction for the Managers, Senior Associates and Associates on your team.

Outside of engagements, managers are mentors within the firm, acting as people-managers and coaches for other Strategy& consultants. Engaging with the Strategy& and Pharma community is key to growing our firm; participating in thought leadership and building new initiatives based on person interests are some of the many ways Strategy& members continue to develop the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
