Interim Contract | 6-9 Months | Hybrid/Flexible Working | Highly Competitive Day Rate

A well-established and highly respected international business is seeking an Interim Strategy & Value Creation Lead to conduct an independent review of a number of strategic, operational and value creation initiatives across the group.

Following the appointment of a new CFO, the business is looking for a high-calibre individual to assess the credibility of existing programmes, challenge assumptions and provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance value creation and execution.

This is not a traditional strategy consulting role. The successful candidate will combine top-tier strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience, bringing an independent perspective to validate business cases, assess benefit realisation and determine whether initiatives are genuinely positioned to achieve their intended outcomes.

The assignment is ideally suited to individuals who have trained within leading strategy consulting firms such as Bain, McKinsey, BCG, Strategy&, LEK, OC&C or similar, and have subsequently gained experience within value creation, corporate development, transformation, post-deal integration or private equity operating environments.

The Role

The successful individual will conduct structured reviews of key business initiatives, assessing both the quality of the underlying analysis and the likelihood of successful delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
